In 1 Peter 1:1–2, Peter writes to persecuted believers scattered abroad, reminding them of their true identity: strangers in this world, sanctified by the Spirit, and called to obedience through Christ’s blood. Pastor Andrew launches the 2026 series on 1 Peter with the theme “Called Out to Stand Out.” We’re not here to blend in or chase worldly success. We’re strangers (Heaven is home), sanctified (set apart for God’s glory), and serving (obedient to Christ). Living well isn’t accumulating possessions or popularity; it’s knowing who we are in Christ and fulfilling His purpose. Resolve this year to live well for the glory of God!
