Trusting their high cliffs, alliances, and strength, they rejoiced when Judah suffered, helped enemy armies, and betrayed their brother nation instead of showing mercy. God declares that Edom’s pride has deceived them and that they will reap what they have sown, ultimately being wiped out, while Israel will be restored and the kingdom will be the Lord’s. This message calls you to reject self-reliance, take injustice seriously, and humble yourself before God rather than living as if you do not need Him.
