Eric & Lori Bohman
B.I.M.I. Africa Field Director

Starting 1992, Eric and Lori Bohman served as BIMI church-planting missionaries in Kenya and Tanzania, establishing nearly two-dozen churches with national leaders. They also founded two Bible institutes, deaf Bible studies, feeding centers, and a Christian nursery school.

Then in 2012, Eric became the Africa Director for BIMI and now travels to Africa multiple times a year to support national church planters, visit missionaries, lead survey trips, hold regional conferences, and explore new mission fields. While stateside, he teaches and advises at BIMI, speaks at colleges about African mission opportunities, and preaches at conferences on global mission needs.

The Bohmans are passionate about mobilizing missionaries to reach every unreached area in Africa’s 54 nations and 8 territories, many of which still lack a clear Gospel presence. They urge prayer for more laborers to bring the Gospel to the continent.

Dana & Julie Dice
MIssionaries to New York City

Dana and Julie, raised in contrasting environments, found their calling to serve God in New York City. Dana, raised in a Christian home, accepted Christ at nine, led by his sister on August 13, 1973. After marrying Julie on July 23, 1983, they moved to Missouri, joining Faith Baptist Church in Sedalia. There, Dana grew spiritually, and in 1986, God shifted him from farming to ministry.

At a 1988 men’s retreat, God called him to preach, leading him to Oklahoma Baptist College in 1990. Initially resistant to New York City, Dana’s heart was stirred by friends, a teacher, and Psalms 43:3. In April 1993, a missionary’s message confirmed his call to start churches in New York City. Julie, raised without regular church attendance, sought peace until meeting Dana in 1983. At a Baptist church in Firestone, Colorado, she accepted Christ to marry Dana but struggled with assurance.

On April 30, 1989, at Faith Baptist Church, convicted by a sermon on counterfeit faith, Julie found true salvation, gaining peace through I John 5:13. Together, they answered God’s call to plant churches in New York City.

Dallas & Ashley Brown
MIssionaries to Burkina Faso

Dallas and Ashley, raised in church environments, both embraced salvation early in life. Dallas, saved at a young age, recognized Christ as the answer to his sin after learning about eternal consequences. A missions trip to Mexico at age 10 sparked his lifelong call to serve in missions, reinforced by later experiences with missionaries in South America and West Africa. He served on staff at his local church under Pastor Derik Lawrence and spent six months with veteran missionary Keith Shumaker in Burkina Faso, preparing for ministry. Ashley, saved at 12 during a youth service, sought the will of the Lord post-high school. At Victory Baptist Church, she met Dallas, discovered missions, and grew through various church ministries. Married on July 25, 2015, they prepared together for the mission field.

Now, Dallas and Ashley are answering God’s call to serve as missionaries in West Africa, eager to share the Gospel with those who have yet to hear it.
